Finlog Holiday Lodge in Devon, England

Great views of open fields

North Devon is how England used to be many years ago, life is slow and everyone you meet in the local village bradworthy will wish you good morning and take a interest in how you like Devon.

It is a farming area full of hedgerows and wild flowers small empty winding lanes dramatic coastlines and charming little unspoilt sea resorts. At night the sky on a clear night is amazing with the number of stars you can see.

Bradworthy one mile from Finlog is not ye old thatched village but somewhere unchanged with a real sence of value and a great pub some local shops and a bucher that sells some of the best local meat you can buy.

FINLOG is built of very solid timber about 4 inches thick this keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer it is very similar to the mountain cabins built in Canada or Norway and not like the very thin wall lodges that you find on most holiday parks
We have left the inside as it is meant to be solid timber rather than cover it over to look like the inside of a house
North Devon is farm land great villages superb beaches good food and ales friendly people where you can relax and unwind and is not the best place to come if you want discos and lots of nightlife
In the morning when you look out of the window or stand on the patio you will not hear a car, but will be amazed by the sounds of all of the wildlife e.g. Birds - foxs - squirrels - horses and more to be heard in the field to the front and the forest to the right

We leave lots of books and mags some dvds and videos in finlog for guests to enjoy
Lots of people that stay return again as you will see in the visitors book and one of the reason for this is that we give some very good discounts when you book direct with us up to 40% at some times of the year and for the most part as much as 30%
We hope that the weather is good when you come as it is nice to sit on the veranda with a bottle of wine on a warm night.
We have a housekeeper in the village how you will be able to contact if you need any info or help and all details and info are in finlog
